This was a site responsive piece for an Art takeover at The Exhibit in 2016, a large public house with a cinema in Balham for 3 months. The film was created in Final Cut and Logic Pro. It is a surround sound filmic poem that explores the relationship our society and myself have with alcohol.
The biological and chemical affects to the brain, the social pressures and importance of collusion in forming friendships, the desire to get ‘fucked’ and therefore to allow ones primal desires to express themselves and let the mammalian part of the brain take over, to relieve oneself of memory and pain and ultimately to dance in the pitcher plant of death.
